Sod Installation — Arlington, Jacksonville
Arlington is one of Jacksonville's original suburban neighborhoods, and many homes here have been through several lawn cycles. The combination of mature trees, aging irrigation systems, and decades of wear means a lot of Arlington lawns are ready for a fresh start.
We cover all of Arlington including the neighborhoods along Monument Road, Merrill Road, Fort Caroline Road, University Boulevard, and Arlington Expressway. East Arlington, Ft. Caroline, and the areas around Regency Square are all in our service area.
Arlington soil is generally cooperative — sandy enough to drain well but with enough organic content to hold moisture. St. Augustine Floratam does well on most Arlington lots. For the heavily shaded properties under mature pines and oaks, Palmetto is the better choice.
If your sprinkler system is old or not working, now is the time to fix it before new sod goes down. We coordinate with irrigation contractors so the system is ready when the sod hits the ground. New sod needs water immediately and consistently for the first two weeks — a broken sprinkler zone will kill a section fast.
